China warns nations demanding reparations for deadly coronavirus are daydreaming
CHINA has warned any nations demanding reparations for the deadly coronavirus outbreak they are daydreaming, while again launching a scathing attack against the US for spreading lies and attacking the country.
Relations between China and the US have collapsed since the outbreak of COVID-19, which has so far killed more than five million people around the world. The administrations US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping has repeatedly traded vicious blows over several issues related to the pandemic, especially accusations from Washington of a cover-up and lack of transparency from Beijing. Mr Trump has said the global pandemic was caused by a “mistake” in China countries around the world have joined a rising chorus calling for an immediate inquiry into the origins of the disease.
China’s President Xi Jinping has insisted such an investigation will not be allowed until the pandemic boils over.
Last month, Missouri became the first US state to sue the Chinese government over its handling of the pandemic, raging Beijing’s response to the outbreak had inflicted a devastating economic loss on the state.
